Privacy Policy
Overview
Lumio HDR Studio processes every frame on your own Mac, through Apple's Metal framework. Nothing about you or your footage is collected, stored or sent to Digital Arts ApS or to anyone else.
What we collect
Nothing. Lumio has no analytics, no crash reporting service and no third party code of any kind. There is no account to create and no server for the app to talk to.
Your movies
Conversion happens locally on your Mac. Your footage is never uploaded, and Digital Arts ApS has no access to any file you open, convert or export.
Photos
Lumio can read movies from your Photos library and write converted movies back to it, either as a new movie or by modifying the original. Photos keeps the untouched version, so the change can be reverted.
This needs your permission, which macOS asks for the first time you use the feature. The access is used only for the conversion you asked for. Your library is not read, copied or transmitted for any other purpose, and you can withdraw the permission at any time in System Settings under Privacy & Security.
Network
Lumio can play a video stream that you point it at, over HLS. That connects to the address you entered and to nothing else, in order to play and convert the stream as it arrives. Beyond that, Lumio makes no network connections. It does not send your files, your library or any information about how you use the app.
The App Store
Your purchase is handled by Apple, not by us. Apple processes the payment and may collect data in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy. Digital Arts ApS receives no personally identifiable information from Apple, and we have no way to connect a purchase to a person.
